EQUIPMENT

You may have overlooked an important facet of the DJ. My experience has taught me... equipment makes a difference. It would be easier and cheaper, to use a pre-boxed "name" .  That's fine in the consumer world, but let's face it..you wouldn't use Ipods to DJ your wedding,  or the same speaker on your bedroom clock radio to sound concise in a hotel or banquet hall. Let's take you to the world of commercial sound.

Let's break it down for an easy understanding

We use EV SX 500 speakers along with JBL or EV 18" subs all driven by Two Crown I-tech 6000 digital amplifiers and a DBX drive rack crossover.   Why?  Each and every room is different. We have the ability to sound check each room with our digitial crossover. We have enough power to keep the music low, and not pushing the speakers to capacity. Hence, your ability to carry on a conversation at the table, while still feeling the beat on the dance floor. While we see cheaper... all in one"boxed systems" don't be fooled by the name. I doesn't have the clarity or strength you need for a large room. It may sound like overkill, but would you want to experience "underkill" on the night of your reception? A subwoofer isolates the beat on the dancefloor while the highs are isolated two top speakers. A lot more work, but we think it is worth it.  Two of everything allows a back-up system as well as a DJ on call at all times.

LIGHTING

I have talked to brides, after the fact,  who booked another DJ ...only to learn that The DJ showed up without lights and, an underpowered system. The voices were garbled. The lighting was non existent for the bridal dance, and there was no ambiance.  We ALWAYS use lighting. It compliments the system. Our Lighting effects create the environment that is conducive for breathtaking photos, as well as  intimate moments on the dance floor. We can compliment everything in the room with an uplighting package that will give you that Las Vegas show atmosphere.

UPLIGHTING

In the past we usually contracted out for this service. But demand outpaced our prior capacity. We offer elegant uplighting with every package. These aren't the 10-20 watt lights you see others using. Our lights start at 100 watts,  per fixture. that gives us the ability to illuminate entire staircases, columns, back drapes and monograms.

VIDEO

We offer the ability to show your "through the years" Video picture show to music on a 55 inch TV, to a 12 foot rear projection screen. Our projectors have close to 4000 lumens and can be used in a daylight atmosphere. We can also use this for corporate power point presentations on a dual screen.
